UMCOR supplies food for the hungry and helps countries progress in development by providing seeds, tools, and training.
Bashor Children's Home - Goshen, IN
We've just adopted a cottage to provide written encouragement and minor funding for this ministry to high-risk children and youth.
Habitat for Humanity - Northwest Indiana
"Habitat for Humanity International is a Christian organization and welcomes volunteers from all faiths who are committed to Habitat's goal of eliminating poverty housing."

Please visit the Habitat for Humanity Official Web Site.
Indiana United Methodist Children's Home - Lebanon, IN
Providing some support for this critical ministry for children in need.
Spring Valley Shelter - Valparaiso
We vigorously support the work and ministry at the Spring Valley Shelter by providing volunteers weekly to care for the children while their parents attend personal growth workshops. We also provide some funding and a meal once per month. At Christmas our Children's and Youth Ministries host the Shelter's families for a Birthday Party for Jesus where they hear the Christmas story, are visited by Santa, snack on birthday cake and other fresh goodies, and given gifts to take home. Our volunteers also help provide necessary maintenance and other needs as they arise.
Food Pantries - Winfield and Porter Townships
Food pantry collections are on the first Sunday of every month.  Non-perishable items, paper goods, or cash donation for needy families are needed.   Thank you for your support!
Honduras Project - Ruth Kernagis
Ruth is a member of our congregation who has adopted a community on a small island of Honduras. COFS has assisted in Ruth's project in a variety of ways. Our Children's ministry has provided many school supplies for the children, we have supplied books for a library and curriculum for a Vacation Bible School. This year, Ruth will be leading a small group from the church to help with the Bible School.
Relay For Life - The American Cancer Society
Relay for life is a national event to help beat cancer.  In our local walk for 2003, COFS was awarded the top Church Youth Donors. Our church collected over $4000 for this project! The next event is in April 2004. Please visit the official Relay for Life web site.
Adopt-a-Street  - East 109th Avenue
COFS helps clean up the roadway between the church and Winfield every spring (and fall when necessary) to make the whole community look better.
Good Samaritan Fund
Monies collected at the Holy Communion railing and other donations are used to help those in critical financial needs. This provides for such things as: Utility assistance, gas money and shelter.
Community Help Projects
Helping to meet the needs of our church and community with Christ-like service.
Giving Tree
Providing Christmas gifts for the children in need in our community.
